HARARE: River Valley Group of Companies has continued to shine in the business domain after its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Smelly Dube outshined other CEOs and scooped the outstanding leader in Business award at the inaugural CEO’s Network Awards ceremony which was held in Harare recently.
Dr. Dube was recognized for her sterling works in steering the River Valley sheep to great heights.
She was honored barely a day after the company Chairman, Engineer Mncedisi Dube was awarded the Strategic Leader of the year award at the National Megafest Awards ceremony, also held in Harare.
Other big names to walk away with awards at the CEOs network were Herald chief executive, Pikirai Deketeke, Sunday Mail Editor, Victoria Ruzvidzo, and sister to outspoken Norton legislator, Temba Mliswa, Norma.
Gweru council spokesperson, Vimbai Chingwaramusee was also represented as she got recognized among high-profile figures.
Dr. Dube said she was elated to win the award adding it had become a norm.
The multi-award winner and philanthropist said she will continue to work hard in her business acumen.
“It’s a blessing from God to continue winning the awards. It’s a clear testimony that we are doing a good job on the ground and we will continue to do so,” said Dr. Dube.
In recognition of her visible works in the society, guests at the CEO’s network ceremony were treated to a small video clip that showcased Dr. Dube’ company, River valley Properties on a humanitarian mission, with earth-moving machinery on the ground clearing drainage and sprucing out roads in Woodlands suburb Gweru.
The company has also been making roads and drains ahead of the rains in Hertfordshire and Mkoba 12 infill
