Bikita Minerals is licking its wounds after a thrilling match against Highlanders, where they dominated the game but fell short on the scoreboard.
Despite creating numerous chances, the team couldn’t capitalize on them, highlighting the fine margins that often decide football matches.
However, the lithium miners say theyare not dwelling on the past. Said coach Wilson Mutekede, “Instead, we are focusing on their next challenge: a crucial match against Telone FC this Saturday.
“The stakes are high, and Bikita Minerals knows what to expect from their opponents”.
TelOne FC is notorious for its rough tactics, and the team is aware that they’ll need to be prepared for a tough battle.
“We play the dirtiest opponent ever,” added the team’s management.
“A team that will do anything and everything dirty just to get a result,” they further said.

Last season, they suffered a calamity at the hands of TelOne FC, and they’re determined to make amends.
According to General Manager Hardy Mabhugu, TelOne FC has signed an entire new team and can be a formidable opponent when they choose to play their best football.
The midlands has however not been a good hunting ground for Bikita Minerals, with the team losing to TelOne FC and Kwekwe respectively in the past.
However, with their new squad and determination to succeed, the lithium miners are ready to turn the tide.
