GWERU: The Midlands Christian Group of Schools recently commissioned a new solar plant as the school gears towards adopting renewable and environmentally friendly energy.
During the commissioning, the school’s Principal Director, Pastor Daniel Pswarai said the new plant will reduce reliance on traditional sources of energy.
“The installation of the solar plant is a significant milestone for our school,” said Pastor Pswarai.
“It will not only reduce our reliance on traditional energy sources but also provide a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for our energy needs,” he added.
Added Emma Khola, “We are thrilled to see the completion of the solar plant as it is testament to the school’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.”
The solar plant is expected to provide numerous benefits to the school, including reduced energy costs, increased energy independence, environmental sustainability and improved healthy learning conditions for students.
The solar plant is also expected to have a positive impact on the school’s energy needs and sustainability efforts.
