GWERU based Division One side Shesham FC has signed a new kit deal with Kappa for an undisclosed amount; a move that is set to complete the club’s transformation into a professional football club amid being part of a lower league.
Kappa is a leading sportswear brand of Italian roots worn by the world’s biggest teams, a reflection that indicates the club parted with a fortune to seal the deal.
Confirming the developments, Sheasham FC Vice President, Happines Dziva says the kit will be unveiled soon.
“We signed a deal with Kappa early last week and we received the consignment which includes training equipment, tracksuits and jerseys. Very soon we shall unveil the kit as well as new players we signed,” he said.
To date, Shesham FC has also managed renovations of their new Gweru Sports Club home base, having furnished the stadium with state-of-the -art equipment.
Finhu-Finhu as Shesham is affectionately known surrendered their closest chance to enter top flight football to neighbors, Whawha FC after losing to Dulibadzimu by a goal to nil amid the fact that they had spent a better half of the season toping the log.
On the unveiling ceremony, the club is tipped to officially announce their new base and leadership as the club continues to transform into a professional outfit.
