GWERU – Central Region Soccer League leaders Sheasham have said they are not scared of facing their contenders, Hardrock FC this weekend with club Chairperson Reginald Chidawanyika refering to them as “…nothing but mere Division 2 champions’.
Chidawanyika made the remarks during the Club’s fundraising dinner at Bata Club last night.
Shesham FC and second-placed Hardrock have set the stage for a thrilling top-of-the-table clash this Sunday.
The two arch-rivals are tied on 16 points after six matches and this encounter will determine bragging rights and log standings leadership.
A loss for either side could significantly impact their title aspirations, making this match a high-stakes battle for supremacy.

Hardrock beat Matobo FC 2-0 in a mid-week fixture to catch up with leaders Sheasham who were held to a nil all draw by bogey side Blanket Mine.
Johanne Sibanda and Last Nyilenda were on target for Hardrock.
In other matches played during the week, bottom placed Midlands State University and Tongogara drew one all, while fourth placed Dulibadzimu United drew with the same shoreline against ZRP Gwanda.
Second from bottom Bishopstone and Jame West drew nil all, while Grain Tigers and Shabanie Mine drew one all.
Third from bottom Gokwe North beat FC Platinum U19 1-0, while third placed Gwanda Pirates also beat Dinson Mvuma 1-0.
Fifth placed Air Force of Zimbabwe side Chapungu bounced back to winning ways with a comprehensive 3-0 win over West Nicholson.
