GWERU – In a key international academic collaboration, Midlands State University (MSU) recently landed a partnership with further strengthening institution’s internationalisation strategy.

The university says the partnership symbolises a transformative partnership that promises to revolutionise educational exchange, research, and innovation between the two institutions.

“This is more than an agreement.”

“It’s a gateway to unprecedented academic and research opportunities that will propel our university onto the global stage,” said pro-Vice Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Industrialisation, Professor Mugumbate during the signing ceremony.

The Framework of Cooperation encompasses comprehensive collaborative initiatives, including: faculty member exchanges, student exchange programs, joint research activities, collaborative educational programs, and academic material sharing.

Professor Laurine Chikoko, Executive Director of International and Alumni Relations, highlighted the partnership’s transformative potential.

“International collaborations are the lifeblood of modern academic excellence,” she stated.

“This agreement will unlock research and innovation opportunities that would be impossible in isolation,” she added.

While MSU continues to execute its mandate of human capital development and innovation, the Framework of Cooperation stands as a beacon of hope and progress in the ever-evolving landscape of global higher education.
