KWEKWE: In a bid to get closer to communities, Simbisa Brands opened Chicken Inn and Pizza Inn Shops at Mbizo 4 shopping center in Kwekwe over the weekend.
The development adds to Midland’s already opened shops in similar settings particularly Redcliff and Mkoba road.
Simbisa Brands Operations Manager Tichaona Nyapfuri in Kwekwe said their aim as to bring convenience to their clients by getting closer to the communities that have supported their brand through decades of business.
“These communities have supported us for many years through trusting our brand and as we grow and we therefore thought getting closer to them is a good gesture of the cordial relationship we have.
“The brands which are at this new Mbizo Shop are Chicken Inn and Pizza Inn. All promotions are also open to the community regardless of locale. We hope this is great convenience to our clients who needed to be in town first to enjoy the favorite Simbisa Brands products,” Nyapfuri said.
Meanwhile, Simbisa Brands has not only reached out to high density suburbs but have shown presence in small growing towns like Shurugwi and Gokwe.
Patrons who came into the shop also expressed happiness over the development.
“We are happy as Mbizo residents. Getting a decent meal when you need one has been made easier,” said Tecla Taderera.
“We have had about the Pizza Inn masterclass where one would learn how to make a pizza through purchase of the product. As elderly women, getting to town only for that was difficult but now we are happy that they have come to our doorstep,” also said Babra Mhangami.
The company prides of 32 shops in the Midlands Province.
