Simbisa Brands, the company which runs Chicken Inn and other fast food outlets is set to come to Shurugwi.

Shurugwi Town Council unanimously agreed to grant Simbisa Brands permission to operate as it is in line with the town’s expansion drive.

In an interview, Simbisa Brands Operations Manager for Midlands, Phillip Kaiyo said they are happy to be coming to Shurugwi and the company is expecting to be running by end 2020.

“We are happy to be spreading wings towards a market that we have tested and observed they like us. Its quite a milestone and the Shurugwi family will get nothing but the best of service above all hygiene guaranteed,” Kaiyo said.

Shurugwi’s strategic plan looks into attracting investors towards the town’s development by end 2020 and big players like Glow Petroleum and Metro Peach have already set base in the scenic town.
