GWERU-based music producer Blessing ‘Blejah’ Chimutowe has lined up Gweru’s finest artists in one song set to be released on election day.
Featuring artists include Yulesis, Xiddo, Mackman, Tommy Jah Baulet, and Vocal Queen.
Regardless of an election day release, the song, ‘Kuenda Mberi’ is apolitical as it instead encourages hard work.
“The song speaks of our daily lives, how we hustle and sometimes ends don’t meet but instead be encouraged to work harder than give up.
“As a producer, I felt that spreading motivational messages as I have always done through my work would help youths stay focused and refrain from dangerous ways of dealing with idleness like drug abuse,” Chimutowe said.
“The video is also coming out on the 23rd and we are looking forward to a great reception from our online community,” added Chimutowe.
